11:38 AM EST - Talisman Energy Inc. : says its fourth-quarter profit increased 12 percent to $598 million while full-year earnings hit a record $2 billion. Net income for the quarter ended Dec. 31 amounted to 55 cents a share and compared with $533 million or 48 cents per share a year ago, the Calgary-based company reported Thursday. Analysts' consensus forecast was for earnings of 32 cents a diluted share, before one-time items, according to Thomson Financial. Talisman Energy Inc.
