11:55 AM EST - Base Oil & Gas Ltd. : announced the closing of its corporate restructuring transactions. At the annual and special meeting, the company's shareholders approved the consolidation of the Corporation's issued and outstanding common shares on a three-for-one basis. Shareholders also approved the change of the Corporation's name to Base Oil & Gas Ltd. The Corporation's trading symbol will be changed from TNL to BOG effective on or about October 14. The Corporation completed its non-brokered private placement. Aggregate proceeds were $300,000 with six million common shares being issued at $0.05 per share. The Corporation also acquired certain oil and gas assets in the Coutts area of Alberta from a private company pursuant to a non-arms length transaction in exchange for the issuance of 1,220,548 common shares at $0.05 per share.
