Excluding the impact of the goodwill impairment charges in the third quarter of 2008 and 2009, financial results improved quarter over quarter with net income increasing 8.7% to $25.0 million compared to $23.0 million in 2008 and earnings per share increased 10% to $0.55 in third-quarter 2009 compared to $0.50 one year ago. Net revenue grew to $306.77 million from $289.2 million in the same quarter last year. Stantec Inc.
