04:02 PM EST - Métro Limited Partnership : reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of $36.3 million, compared to a net loss of $40.1 million in the prior-year quarter. On an adjusted basis, net loss for the fourth quarter was $36.7 million or $0.31 per share, in comparison with a net loss of $39.5 million or $0.32 per share in the corresponding quarter previous year. The company posted net income for fiscal year 2009 of $158.5 million or $1.32 per unit, up from $154.4 million or $1.28 per unit in the prior year. On an adjusted basis, net income for fiscal year increased to $159.6 million or $1.32 per unit from $153.3 million or $1.27 per unit a year ago.
