12:00 PM EST - Shoppers Drug Mart : announced that it has been successful in its bid to buy MediSystem Technologies Inc. under its previously announced offer. A total of 21.2 million common shares of MediSystem representing about 89.9% of the outstanding common shares of MediSystem were validly deposited to the offer, at the offer expiry.
