12:16 PM EST - Canaco Resources Inc. : a junior Vancouver miner, has struck a deal to acquire Douglas Lake Minerals' 75 percent interest in the 46-square-kilometre Magmebe diamond prospect in Tanzania. Canaco said Friday the deal requires the company to pay US$200,000 in cash, issue 750,000 shares and commit to spending US$2.5 million on exploration to acquire the 75 percent stake.
