12:19 PM EST - Gabriel Resources Ltd. : has arranged a public offering of stock to raise $108.75 million that would finance development of its 80 percent owned Rosia Montana gold deposit in Romania. A syndicate of underwriters, led by RBC Capital Markets and Sprott Securities Inc., aims to sell 25 million common shares at $4.35 each. Newmont Mining Corp. of Canada Ltd., a subsidiary of global giant Newmont Mining Corp., holds the right to acquire up to 20 per cent of the offering. Gabriel Resources Ltd.
shares T.GBU are trading up 17 cents at $4.57.
