12:29 PM EST - Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. : reported a lower third-quarter profit on Tuesday, as North America's third-largest convenience store operator was hit by a sharp drop in motor fuel margins. The company earned $43.7 million, or 21 cents a diluted share, down from a profit of $54.5 million, or 26 cents a share, a year earlier. On average, 11 analysts polled by Reuters Estimates had expected the company to earn 25 cents a share before exceptional items. Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.
