10:48 AM EST - Coalcorp Mining Inc. : said it entered into agreements to sell the La Francia mine and related infrastructure assets and all of the issued and outstanding shares of Adromi Capital Corp. to a unit of the Goldman Sachs Group. The company said the cash consideration for the La Francia I Assets is $100 million U.S. and the cash consideration for the Adromi Shares is $51 million U.S. The company said the mark-to-market value of the Coal Contract based on prevailing coal prices is estimated to be about $50 million U.S. in favour of the purchaser under the Coal Contract, which amount represents an existing off-balance sheet liability of Coalcorp being assumed by the purchaser.
