11:52 AM EST - ProSep Inc. : was awarded a contract to supply a 13,000-barrel-per-day or BPD proprietary produced water treatment system to a major oil and gas producer, for installation on an offshore processing platform in South East Asia. Delivery is expected to occur during the second half of 2010. The company added that the system provided will be designed using ProSep's TORR proprietary produced water treatment technology. ProSep stated that this polishing solution efficiently removes small particles of oil contaminants from produced water, allowing oil and gas companies to meet very strict specifications for reinjection or regulatory requirements for overboard discharge.
