11:33 AM EST - Thomson Reuters Corp. : reported that its fourth-quarter net earnings attributable to common shareholders were $177 million U.S., compared to $560 million U.S. in the same quarter last year. On a per share basis, net income was $0.21 U.S., down from $0.67 in the year-ago quarter. Adjusted earnings were $0.44 U.S. per share, down from $0.50 U.S. per share in the prior-year period. Underlying operating profit declined to $661 million U.S., from $788 million U.S. in the comparable quarter last year. Revenues for the quarter were $3.36 billion U.S., compared to $3.40 billion U.S. in the prior-year quarter.
