10:20 AM EST - Intertape Polymer Group Inc. : is reporting a 2006 fourth-quarter loss of US$15.2 million, versus a year-ago profit of US$9.7 million, after a third-quarter writedown totalling US$120 million. The full-year loss totalled US$166.7 million, contrasting with a US$27.8-million profit in 2005, the Montreal-based company said Tuesday. The firm reports in U.S. dollars. The loss for the quarter ended Dec. 31 amounted to 37 cents a share, versus earnings of 24 cents per share a year earlier. For the full year, the loss amounted to $4.07 a share, contrasting with a profit of 67 cents per share in 2005. Intertape Polymer Group Inc.
