03:50 PM EST - Barrick Gold Corp. : said it welcomed a U.S. District Court April 13 decision that mining operations can continue at its Cortez Hills Mine while the Bureau of Land Management completes a study of three aspects of the project identified in a 2009 ruling by the United States 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. The court's order preserves hundreds of Nevada mining jobs and the many other community benefits resulting from Barrick's investment at Cortez Hills. Barrick Gold Corp.
