11:08 AM EST - LionOre Mining International Ltd. : Swiss-based Xstrata announced a friendly $4.6 billion bid for LionOre Mining International Ltd. The all-cash offer of $18.50 per share was unanimously approved by LionOre's board of directors, both companies announced Monday. The offer represents a 5.8 percent premium over the closing price of $17.49 per LionOre share on the TSX on Friday. LionOre Mining International Ltd.
