10:57 AM EST - Teck Cominco Ltd. : has lowered its sales guidance in its third quarter and boosted its forecast in the fourth quarter, due to weather conditions affecting shipments of zinc from its Red Dog mine in Alaska. Third-quarter sales of zinc in concentrate are expected to be 125,000 tonnes, down from a previous estimate of 175,000 tonnes, due to "ice and weather conditions" affecting the mine.
