12:06 PM EST - BCE Inc. : reported that its first-quarter net earnings applicable to common shares were $608 million, or $0.79 per share, compared to $377 million, or $0.48 per share, for the same period last year. Adjusted earnings rose to $0.65 per share, from $0.57 per share in the year ago quarter. BCE operating revenues rose to $4.432 billion, from $4.331 billion in the year ago quarter. BCE Inc.
