12:41 PM EST - Gildan Activewear Inc. : is cutting about 545 jobs in the United States and Canada as it moves more of its operations to lower-cost Honduras and the Dominican Republic to be globally competitive. Montreal-based Gildan said Wednesday it is eliminating about 210 jobs in Canada and 335 in the United States. Gildan Activewear Inc.
