11:45 AM EST - Helix BioPharma Corp. : announced results from Phase II clinical trial assessing efficacy and safety of Topical Interferon Alpha-2b cream for treatment of ano-genital warts or AGW. Analysis of primary study endpoint, and secondary efficacy endpoints, showed no statistically significant treatment effects between the treatment and the placebo groups. Local skin reactions in both groups were mostly absent or mild, and there were no treatment-related serious adverse events, the company stated. Helix BioPharma Corp.
