09:59 AM EST - UEX Corp. : reported that Cameco Corp. had increased its interest modestly in UEX Corp. to about 23.3%. Cameco said that it is not planning to significantly increase its interest in UEX at this time. Cameco acquired 4.12 million shares of UEX through the Toronto Stock Exchange, Alpha ATS and Chi-X Canada ATS from May 13 to June 18, at purchase prices ranging from $0.74 to $0.85 for $3.37 million. As a result of these purchases, Cameco now owns 45.86 million common shares of UEX. UEX Corp.
shares T.UEX are trading down $0.04 at $0.82.
