04:03 PM EST - Jean Coutu Group : reported that its first-quarter net earnings amounted to $43.2 million or $0.18 per share, up from $10.3 million or $0.04 per share in the year-ago quarter. Earnings before specific items and share of loss in Rite Aid amounted to $43.5 million or $0.18 per share, compared with $38.5 million or $0.16 per share during the first quarter of fiscal year 2010.
