Also, the company posted comparable earnings for the second quarter of 2010 of $21 million or $0.10 per share versus a loss of $6 million or $0.03 per share for the same period in 2009. Funds from operations for the latest quarter grew to $184 million from $94 million a year earlier. TransAlta Corp.
