12:02 PM EST - Uranium One : announced it has increased its 2010 production guidance after record production at its South Inkai mine in Kazakhstan dramatically reduced its adjusted net losses in the second quarter. The miner, which has operations in Vancouver and Johannesburg, South Africa, reined in its adjusted net losses to $1.3 million U.S. from $12.9 million a year ago. During the comparable period last year, the company, which reports in U.S. dollars, took a $251-million impairment charge and its operating loss was $265.7 million. Including one-time items such as a loss this year on the sale of an asset, Uranium One's second quarter net loss was $9.7 million, or two cents per share for the period ended June 30.
