Loss per share was $0.08 versus earnings per share of nil for the same period in 2009. Interest income decreased to $40,000 from $59,000 last year due to a reduction of short-term investments. Interest expense was $800,000 compared to $900,000 in the prior year. The decrease in interest expense was due to favourable interest rates this period as compared to last period.
