10:08 AM EST - Iamgold Corp. : announced that its second-quarter net earnings were $35.7 million U.S. or $0.10 U.S. per share down from $44.1 million U.S. or $0.12 U.S. per share in the second quarter of 2009. Adjusted net earnings increased to $39.1 million U.S. or $0.11 U.S. per share from $31.5 million U.S. or $0.09 U.S. per share in the year-ago quarter. Revenues were $214.0 million U.S. in the second quarter of 2010, a 5% decrease from the second quarter of 2009 mainly due to a decrease in gold sales. Iamgold Corp.
