For the quarter, the company reported a profit of $21.75 million U.S. or $0.15 U.S. per share compared to a loss of $7.33 million U.S. or $0.08 U.S. per share in the previous year. Adjusted earnings for the period were $20.64 million U.S. or $0.15 per share, up from $10.78 million U.S. or $0.11 U.S. per share in the prior year.
