11:48 AM EST - Cameco Corp. : reported second-quarter net earnings of $68 million or $0.17 per share, compared with $247 million or $0.63 per share in the second quarter of 2009. The company attributed the decline in net earnings to after-tax expenses of $46 million for unrealized mark-to-market losses on financial instruments, compared with gains of $107 million a year ago. On an adjusted basis, earnings declined 30% to $114 million or $0.29 per share from $162 million or $0.41 per share in the prior-year quarter. Revenue for the quarter was $546 million, down 15% from $646 million in the same quarter of last year. Cameco Corp.
