03:35 PM EST - Glentel Inc. : announced it is getting into the U.S. market, agreeing yesterday to purchase a majority stake for $50.45 million U.S. in a retail chain that sells Verizon Wireless service. The agreement has Glentel paying for an 81.5% stake in Diamond Wireless LLC, which operates 128 stores in 11 states. Glentel has the option of buying out the remaining 18.5% of the company at a later date. Glentel Inc.
