03:49 PM EST - BCE Inc. : re-launched its Solo Mobile brand Friday to offer unlimited rate plans in select cities as competition in the discount wireless market heats up. Solo will now offer contract-free unlimited talk and text plans for $45 a month in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa and Toronto. The plans are available in the same urban centres as wireless newcomers Wind Mobile, Mobilicity. The Solo plan is also priced competitively with Rogers Communications’ recently launched unlimited Chatr brand. BCE Inc.
shares T.BCE are trading down $0.07 at $32.61.
