04:20 PM EST - Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd. : said it has reached a new four-year labour agreement with unionized workers at its mill in 100 Mile House, British Columbia. Members of the Pulp, Paper and Woodworkers Union of Canada or PPWC, Local 9, ratified the deal today. The previous contract expired June 30, 2009.
The company added that the new labour deal, involving 125 employees at the 100 Mile House mill, was reached without any work stoppage or production disruption. Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd.
shares T.ANS are trading down $0.04 at $2.41.
