11:51 AM EST - AQM Copper Inc. : announces continuing positive drill results from the Zafranal project located in the northwestern extension of Peru's Southern Porphyry Copper Belt near the city of Arequipa. Zafranal is subject to a 50/50 JV with Teck Resources whereas AQM Copper is the operator until a production decision is made. AQM Copper is working with AMEC to complete the Initial NI43-101 compliant resource estimate on Zafranal by the end of September 2010. Mineralization ranged up to 1.06% copper. AQM Copper Inc.
