10:32 AM EST - Groupe Laperriere & Verreault Inc. : Danish company FLSmidth & Co. has agreed to pay $950 million for the process group of Groupe Laperriere & Verreault Inc., a world leader in liquid/solid separation technologies used in industrial, municipal and environmental processes. Montreal-based GL&V said Friday that FLSmidth would actually acquire all the Canadian company's shares, but the water treatment, pulp and paper and manufacturing groups would be spun off to GL&V shareholders as a new firm trading on the stock market. In acquiring the process group, FLSmidth would pay $840 million in cash, or $33 a share, and assume net debt of about $110 million. Groupe Laperriere & Verreault Inc.
