03:54 PM EST - Marathon PGM Corporation : announced that the initial results from barge drilling at the Leprechaun Gold Deposit, in Central Newfoundland are defining an area of near surface mineralization by filling in a large void in the historic drilling pattern. Results to date are excellent. Highlights include: the best drill interval contains 4.68 grams per ton gold across 10 metres (core width) in VL-10-211 in the main zone; multiple lenses of near-surface (hanging-wall) gold mineralization will improve the potential of a possible open pit operation; drilling completed to date consists of 56 holes and 5,800 metres in summer program.
