04:08 PM EST - Suncor Energy Inc. : said first-quarter profit fell 23 percent on lower oil sands production and reduced earnings in its natural gas business. The company earned $551 million, or $1.20 a share, during the quarter, down from year-earlier $713 million, or $1.56 a share. Analysts were expecting an average of 90 cents a share among analysts polled by Reuters Estimates. Suncor Energy Inc.
