03:38 PM EST - Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp. : has struck a deal to acquire Bolnisi Gold NL and Palmarejo Silver and Gold Corp. for US$1.1 billion, to create one of the world's biggest silver companies. As part of the deal, Bolnisi shareholders will receive 0.682 Coeur shares for each Bolnisi share they own. Palmarejo shareholders will receive 2.715 Coeur shares for each Palmarejo share they own. Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp.
shares T.CDM are trading off 15 cents at $4.33.
