02:44 PM EST - Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. : reported a higher first-quarter profit on Tuesday, even as its revenue fell because two major business customers are shifting communications traffic to their own networks. The communications firm said it earned $52.9 million, or 80 cents per share, in the three months ended March 31. That was up from a profit of $44 million, or 65 cents per share, in the same period a year earlier. Manitoba Telecom Services Inc.
