09:51 AM EST - Equinox Minerals Limited : announced today that the closing date for the Equinox Resources Limited takeover offer for Citadel Resource Group Limited has been extended to 5pm (WST) on January 17, 2011. The takeover offer will remain open for acceptance until this time. A copy of the notice of variation extending the closing date for the takeover offer has been lodged with ASIC and will be sent today to Citadel and Citadel shareholders who have not yet accepted the offer.
