10:07 AM EST - Biovail Corp. : reported a higher first-quarter profit on Thursday. Canada's biggest publicly traded drug company said it earned $93.8 million, or 58 cents a share, for the period ended March 31, up from $68.4 million, or 43 cents a share, for the same time a year earlier. Revenue was $247 million during the quarter, up from $222.6 million for the same time last year. Analysts were expecting earnings per share of 41 cents, according to Reuters Estimates. Biovail Corp.
