10:11 AM EST - Magna International : reported a 2.8 percent rise in first-quarter profit on Thursday. The autoparts maker said it had a net profit of $218 million, or $1.96 a share, in the quarter ended March 31, up from a profit of $212 million, or $1.91 a share, in the year-ago quarter. Magna International
shares T.MG.A are trading ahead $8.85 at $96.08.
