10:00 AM EST - MDS Inc. : has struck a deal to sell its laboratory services division for $1.33 billion to a unit of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System pension fund. Toronto-based MDS announced early Thursday it will sell Canada's largest provider of laboratory services, with more than 2,900 employees and annual revenue of $335 million, to Borealis Infrastructure Management, an investment entity of the OMERS pension fund. MDS Inc.
T.MDS are trading ahead $1.55 at $20.30.
