Net income for full-year 2010 was $2,104 million, or $4.48 per diluted share, compared with 2009 net income of $1,854 million, or $3.92 per diluted share. The financial results for both years included a number of items that affect the comparability of the results, including, in 2010, an after-tax gain on the sale of CN's Oakville Subdivision of $131 million, or $0.28 per diluted share.
