11:59 AM EST - Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. : says that it is deploying 1,300 managers to keep trains running following a notice that maintenance workers will strike next week. The railway's track maintenance and exapansion employees, who have been without a contract since December, told the company Saturday afternoon that they plan to strike at midnight Mountain Time on Tuesday night. The workers maintain track and structures such as bridges, but do not operate trains. Managers have been trained over the past few months to do the replacement work in anticipation of a strike action by the roughly 1,200 workers. Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd.
