03:55 PM EST - Capital Power Corporation : announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire two generating facilities from Brick Power Holdings LLC, one facility located in Tiverton, Rhode Island and one facility located in Rumford, Maine. Both plants are natural gas-fired combined cycle power generation facilities serving the New England region in the U.S. Northeast, and have a maximum combined capacity of 549 megawatts.
