KCP Income Fund

10:17 AM EST - KCP Income Fund : reports that its subsidiary is paying US$32.5 million to acquire Aerosol Services Co. and Piedmont Laboratories Inc., including factories in City of Industry, Calif., and Gainesville, Ga. KIK International LLC is buying the assets from Outsourcing Services Group LLC, Toronto-based KCP said Friday. The acquired businesses make and sell aerosol and non-aerosol filling and packaging services for personal care, salon, household, industrial and automotive products. With 19 integrated factories throughout North America, KCP - operating as KIK Custom Products - is one of North America's largest custom manufacturers of consumer products. Its product lines include laundry, household cleaners, personal care and over-the-counter health products. KCP makes products for such major companies as Albertsons, Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, Loblaw (TSX:L), Unilever and Wal-Mart. units KCP.UN:CA are trading up one cent at $10.00.
