10:19 AM EST - Bombardier Aerospace : has announced sales of three executive jets with a total list price of US$78 million. A Global Express XRS intercontinental jet has been sold to Echo Aircraft Co., to be managed by Executive Aircraft Services of Beirut, while Omni Aviacao of Portugal has ordered a Challenger 300 and a light Learjet 40 XR. Bombardier said Wednesday the Global Express XRS, carrying a list price of US$49 million, will replace Echo's current Bombardier Global 5000 jet. It is the fifth Bombardier business jet purchase by Echo, with all of the aircraft based in the Middle East. The Omni Aviacao transaction is worth US$29 million at list prices, and the planes are scheduled for delivery in the Montreal-headquartered company's fourth quarter ending next Jan. 31.
