11:53 AM EST - Tyler Resources : reports that new estimates indicate significant increases in metals contained in its main deposit at the Bahuerachi project in Mexico. After a brief trading halt, Calgary-based Tyler shares shot up 68 per cent in early trading on the TSX Venture exchange, rising 34 cents to 84 cents in heavy trading. The new estimate more than triples the measured and indicated copper inventory to 4.56 billion pounds and adds six billion pounds of zinc. Molybdenum estimates increased 261 per cent to 96.19 million pounds, silver jumped 270 per cent to 67.95 million ounces, while gold rose to 550,626 ounces, a 154 per cent increase, the company said. The estimate was prepared by Associated Geosciences Ltd., based in part on new drilling data from July 15, 2006, to March 31, 2007. Tyler is a junior mineral exploration company focused on exploring for base and precious metals in Mexico. Tyler Resources shares TYS:CA are trading up thirty one cents at $0.81.
