03:43 PM EST - Alter NRG Corp. : announced that is has completed an independent analysis of the Fox Creek coal quality after ash removal, done by Norwest Engineering. The analysis indicates a coal quality of 4,820 kcal/kg (8,700 Btu/lb), which is similar quality to the North American Powder River Basin coal, and an overall yield of 57%. The Fox Creek coal asset is owned 100% by Alter NRG through Alberta crown coal leases and is one of the five largest reserves of coal in the developed world. Alter NRG Corp.
