12:38 PM EST - Reitmans (Canada) Ltd. : has reported a 3.5 percent rise in first-quarter sales, but ''unseasonable weather conditions'' caused sales to sag 6.5 percent at stores open a year or more. The national clothing retailer said Wednesday that sales were $230.7 million in the three months ended May 5, up from $223 million in the year-ago quarter. Net earnings declined to $18.4 million, 26 cents per share, from $21.7 million, 30 cents per share. Reitmans (Canada) Ltd.
