11:05 AM EST - Certicom Corp. : said its fourth-quarter loss ballooned despite a jump in sales, as operating costs increased by 40 percent. The company said late on Wednesday that its net loss increased to $1.2 million, or 3 cents a share, for the quarter ended April 30, from a loss of $200,000, or nil per share, in the year-before quarter. Analysts polled by Reuters Estimates expected a loss before exceptions of 1 cent a share. Certicom Corp.
shares T.CIC are trading down 19 cents at $4.45.
