10:02 AM EST - TELUS Inc. : announces that, following a series of ratification meetings, the Telecommunications Workers Union (TWU) membership has accepted a new collective agreement negotiated between TELUS and the TWU. More than 80% of TELUS team members who cast their ballots at ratification meetings in more than 30 communities voted to accept the new contract. The new agreement, covering approximately 12,100 TELUS employees nationally, takes effect June 9 and expires on December 31, 2015. TELUS Inc.
