03:46 PM EST - Orbit Garant Drilling Inc. : announced that it has renewed a diamond core drilling services contract with Hope Bay Mining Company, a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation, at the Hope Bay gold exploration and development project in Nunavut. Under terms of the contract, Orbit Garant will provide heli-portable drill rigs and accompanying crews for an additional three years, commencing January 1, 2012. Orbit Garant expects to drill between 110,000 and 145,000 metres over the course of the new contract. Orbit Garant was initially contracted for diamond core drilling services at the Hope Bay project in 2008. Orbit Garant Drilling Inc.
